Have Faith!

So this is my FAVORITE card I've made in quite a while. I'm loving the color combination and this patterned paper...FABULOUS! I've been using this patterned paper from Making Memories almost nonstop since I got it!

I used the patterned paper (can't remember the maker, shame on me, I know!) and covered a chipboard piece to make the frame. Then I distressed the edges and added a little gold for some glitz. I did the same for the oval inner piece and then stamped the sentiment on it. The inside piece is attached with foam dots for some dimension.I just love the muted colors and how well the different patterened papers play off each other, even though they aren't from the same set!
And of course I had to use my scalloped edge punch and some Rustic Jute Twine from PTI! I feel like I use twine all the time; but I really do just love the rustic look of it.

Here in the corner is this adorable little dove & heart image. So cute and tiny. Really coordinates with the elegant Faith theme, in my opinion. What do you think? I got this clear stamp set from the Michael's dollar section....LOVE IT! What good deal have you found recently? LET ME KNOW! :)

Forever

Hey there! I feel like it's been a while since my last post. Our new puppy, Abby, was in the animal hospital for a few days but luckily she is home and on the road to recovery now!
Here's my latest card:

I used a bunch of rub-ons from my stash. They're really old so I have no idea of the manufacturer. The solid cardstock is PTI and the patterned paper is Making Memories.
I really like the distressed and vintage feel of this card. I don't do too much of that but maybe I should start! What do you think? Is this vintage-y?
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think of this card, leave a comment (or two)!

ABBY!

So not a card or craft post but I have something exciting to share! This is my new fur baby, Abby! We just got her from the local humane society this week. Isn't she adorable?!
She is a boxer mixed with some kind of bird dog. Her tail is black with a white little tip. Absolutely the cutest thing ever!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the weekend. AE

Short & Sweet

Here's another little 3x3 card that I made. I really wanted to use glitter somehow!
The edge of the heart was dipped into a glue pad and then into some Cararra Marble white glitter. It looks much cuter in person!
I love the blue button! It's one I found in my stash and it coordinates so well with the patterned paper!
And of course I had to use my Papertrey Ink Rustic Twine! I love that stuff! I also stamped the main "my friend" image with Versamark. I'm loving that look right now.
Thanks for stopping by and checking things out. Leave a comment or something so I know that *someone* besides me is reading this thing! Ha :)

Little Card, Little Post

This is just a quick little 3x3 card that I whipped out while sitting at my craft table chatting with my husband.
I really love this patterned paper. I got a whole pack of different styles at a Tuesday Morning store for really cheap.

This is my first time trying faux suede. I love how it turned out!

Congrats! A Baby!

Some wonderful news: a great friend of mine is having a baby!
Here's the card I made for her:

I love the color combination!

This is the first time I've ever used Versamark to stamp an image on the background. Shocking, I know! I really love how this card turned out!
